In the summer of 2012 we– British Biologist David Jackson and American writer Colleen Pawling will follow the trail of Francisco de Orellana, the first westerner to travel down the Amazon. We will document how Amazonia has changed in the 500 years since Orellana’s journey, particularly the impact on indigenous peoples living along Orellana’s route.
